Origin of the restaurant
Kish Mish, is a Persian restaurant, Café & Shisha Bar specialising in Persian cuisine, and is one of the very few Persian restaurants in South London. It provides a service of eating in, takeaway or delivery.
The restaurant date backs to 2014 from when it was first set up and formed by Keyvan , who shares his experience from his Iranian Background to enable individuals to experience a little insight of Persian culture whilst enjoying a good meal.
The Kishmish experience
What separates this restaurant from others is the inside décor of the restaurant which has been made to resemble an authentic Persian mud house. Another factor to how we separate ourselves from other restaurants is due to limited numbers of Persian food, which originates from Iran and is a unique cuisine where fresh green herbs are frequently used along with fruits such as plums, pomegranates, quince, prunes, apricots, and raisins.
What we offer
Typical Iranian main dishes are combinations of rice with meat, such as lamb, chicken, or fish, and vegetables such as onions, various herbs, and nuts. To achieve a balanced taste, characteristic Iranian flavourings such as saffron, dried lime, cinnamon, and parsley are mixed delicately and used in some special dishes.
